Council of Europe wants visa-free travel
General Secretary of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland, calls for the introduction of visa-free travel between Russia and the EU.
Speaking to Interfax, Jagland – a former Norwegian Prime Minister – expressed hope that the European visa-free travel regime is extended to more countries.
-I hope that we can get rid of this regime and that Russia can become part of the visa-free Europe, Jagland said, Newsru.com reports.
Thorbjørn Jagland was in Moscow this weekend in connection with the celebration of the 65-years anniversary of the 2WW victory.
