Billion rouble overhaul of railway station
About 1,1 billion RUB (30 million EUR) will be invested in the renovation and modernization of the Murmansk railway station by year 2015.
The railway station, which was built right after the 2WW, does not meet modern standards, Murman.ru reports. The station is now one of five stations along the October railway line which are to be upgraded. The upgrade, which is expected to cost 1,1 billion RUB will start next year. About 40 percent of the sum will come from private investors. Regional authorities in Murmansk have agreed to assist in the project, Murman.ru reports with reference to Gudok.ru
