Customs moved to ports
All Russian ports handling international trade will in the course of 2010 have adjacent customs offices, a high-ranking customs official confirms.
The Federal Customs Service (FTS) will in 2009-2010 complete the establishment of port customs offices, service spokesman Vladimir Ivin told Portnews.ru. From before, 75 percent of all seaways shipped goods are declared in the port areas.
