Getting close to Russian WTO membership
-Russia is now closer than ever membership in the World Trade Organisation, US. Under Secretary of State William Burns told newspaper Kommersant.
Burns, who is this week on an official visit to Moscow, in an interview confirms that Russia is closer than ever to membership in the WTO. The highest ranked Foreign Service Officer and former Ambassador to Russia expresses confidence that Russia will be able to meet the deadlines agreed upon by the two countries’ presidents in June this year.
