Less flying in Murmansk
In the first two months of the year, the Murmansk Airport handled 25 percent less passengers than in the same period last year.
The number of passengers flying to and from Murmansk in January and February totaled 40,773 people, a 24,9 percent decrease compared with the same period in 2008, Murman.ru reports. Also the number of flights to and from the region dropped in the period. A total of 396 aircrafts arrived and departed in the airport, which is a 33,6 percent decrease from last year.
