More Russians go to Finland
The first six months of 2009 saw a ten percent surge in tourist visits to Finland. A major numbers of the visitors are Russians.
According to Yle News, the number of tourist visits to Finland last year totaled 5,5 million people last year visited the country, an increase of three percent year-on-year. In the first six months of 2009, the increase continued with a ten percent increase in the visitor numbers. According to the broadcaster, Russians and Brits had the biggest increase in visits.
