Murmansk industrial production declining
Industrial production in Murmansk Oblast was down 11,7 percent in the first quarter of the year compared with the same period in 2008, figures from the regional statistical service show.
The figures of the mining industry dropped 20 percent year-on-year, while metallurgy was down 15 percent and energy generation and distribution 2,2 percent.
The figures also show that fish processing was down 21 percent, Murman.ru reports.
