Norwegian industry down
Industrial production in Norway will drop 10 percent over the next two years. Still, the worst period might be over, Statistics Norway say.
According to the researchers in Statistics Norway, the drop in the export markets has lead to the significant decline in Norwegian mainland industry. Unemployment is on the increase and mainland GDP is likely to shrink 1,4 percent, the figures from the Norwegian Statistics show. The offshore oil and gas industry is not included in those figures. Renewed economic growth is expected only in 2011.
