Positive trend in Murmansk fisheries
In the course of the last five months, the turnover of the fishery industry in Murmansk Oblast totalled 8,45 billion RUB, which is up 20,7 percent year-on-year from 2007
According to statistics from the Murmanstat statistical service, both catch, processing and sales are on the increase. In the period January-June the turnover of the sector increased 20,7 percent year-on-year from 2007. Fish catch of the regional trawler fleet was up 9,2 percent, Murman.ru reports.
