Teriberka holds on to fisheries
The municipality of Teriberka, Murmansk Oblast, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Norwegian municipality of Båtsfjord on joint fishery projects.
Since Teriberka was taken out of the Russian border zone last year, opportunities for joint projects with Norwegian fishery interests have opened, local authorities say. Last week, municipal representatives signed a cooperation agreement with the Norwegian town of Båtsfjord. That agreement highlights joint fishery projects, B-port.com reports. Teriberka’s focus on fishery development comes at the same time as the Shtokman Development AG plans large-scale investments in local gas facilities.
