Drills dry well in Barents Sea
North Energy failed to find oil and gas at the Zapffe well in the Barents Sea.
The company issued a stock exchange report on Friday stating that the Zapffe well failed to encounter rocks with reservoir quality in the target horizons.
The drilling at the well started on October 15 from the rig Aker Barents. The Zapffe field is located 70 kilomters nordwest of Sørøya of the coast off Finnmark in northern Norway.
