Good, but not good enough, for Statoil
Norwegian energy company Statoil in the second quarter of 2010 had a net profit of 3.1 billion NOK. That is not good enough, analysts say.
According to newspaper Dagens Næringsliv, analysts had expected the Q2 result to be about ten billion NOK. Both lower prices than forecasted in the gas and oil market, as well as lower international production, are seen as the main reasons for the result, the newspaper writes.
