Grand windmill plans in Troms
Troms Energy is planning to spend 130 million EUR on a windmill park in northern Norway
The Norwegian energy company, Troms Energy, is planning to establish a windmill park of 22 windmills at the island Senja in the county of Troms in northern Norway. The project will have a total price of 130 million EUR, writes Norwegian Newspaper Troms Folkeblad
There are already plans for another windmill park in the area, and there have been some protesting from local environmentalists against the first project. The local mayor finds it hard to say no when a company wants to invest 130 million EUR in a small municipality like theirs.
