Green light for Andøya wind power
The Norwegian Ministry of Oil and Energy this week approved plans for a 160 MW wind power park at the island of Andøya in northern Norway.
The ministry approved the plans of the company Andmyran Vindpark AS, newspaper Andøyposten reports.
The park will have an effect of 160 MV and produce up to 450 GWh per year. That is enough to cover the demands of 23,000 households in the area.
