More Russian gas for domestic market
Anatoly Chubais, Board Chairman of energy major RAO UES, says Gazprom not should export more natural gas to Europe and China, but rather focus on growing domestic demands in Russia.
In a recent interview to the Financial Times, the architect of Russia’s 1990s privatisation programme and now the head of its former electricity monopoly, said: “I think that, in strategic terms, our priorities should not be Europe or China”.
