Russia boosted oil export revenues

Russia in the first half of 2010 boosted its revenues from oil exports with more than 85 percent year-on-year.

While oil production in the period increased 8,8 percent to 145 million tons, export revenues boomed as much as 85,4 percent compared with the same period last year. Russia in the first six months of 2010 had revenues amounting to 34,77 billion USD from its oil exports, up from 18,75 billion USD in the same period last year, Oilru.com reports.
