Shtokman and Yamal gas for US market
Gas from the Shtokman field and fields in Yamal might provide up to 10 percent of US gas needs, Gazprom Deputy Chief Executive Alexander Medvedev said today.
The Gazprom representative confirmed that 17 percent of the Shtokman gas will be exported to the USA, Reuters reports. The Shtokman field in the Barents Sea has about 3,7 trillion cubic meters of gas reserves. The resources will be exported both in pipes and as LNG.
