Yamal gas output down 23%
The 2009 forecast was an increase of 3% from last year, but so far the output is down.
Interfax quoted the Yamal distric’s natural resources regulation department saying the gas output from January to August this year decreased by 23% year-on-year. So far this year the gas output from the Arctic peninsula is near 300 billion cubic meters.
