0,3 percent visa-rejections

Nearly everyone that applies in Murmansk get visa to Norway.

Norway’s Consulate General in Murmansk issued 20.729 visas to Norway in 2011, up more than 4.000 from the year before. While the numbers of visas goes up, the rejections go down.

Less than 60 of the applications were rejected in 2011.

“The Consulate General in Murmansk rejected 0,3 percent of the visa applications last year. Actually a bit less, but rounded up to 0,3%,” says Øyvind Pedersen with the visa section at the Consulate General to BarentsObserver.
