17 billion USD on Shtokman infrastructure
Infrastructure in Murmansk Oblast will see total investments of 17 billion USD in connection with the Shtokman field, regional governor Yuri Yevdokimov said this week.
Talking at a seminar in Oslo yesterday, Mr. Yevdokimov said that a total of 17 billion USD will be invested in Murmansk infrastructure in connection with the Shtokman field. The total investments in the huge gas project will amount to 44 billion USD, the governor added.
The Shtokman field in the Barents Sea is to be in production from year 2013. It is the Shtokman Development Company and its stakeholders Gazprom, Total and StatoilHydro, which are responsible for field development.
