Air route Murmansk-Bardufoss
The Russian airline company Aeroflot Nord is ready to launch an air route between Murmansk and Bardufoss, Norway, if tour operators find enough willing costumers.
-If the tour operators get enough clients, we will immediately establish an air route between the two towns, said Vladimir Korotyayev, General Director in Aeroflot Nord, an air line with 32 passenger planes and 1.2 million passengers per year.
He was one of 40 Russian tour operators, journalists and other guests to spend last weekend visiting tourist attractions and alpine ski resorts in central parts of Troms County, news paper Folkebladet reports.
Russians are eager visitors to winter resorts in Finland, the Alps and other places. Norwegian and Russian tour operators believe that the short flight from Murmansk and the spectacular scenery in Troms will attract many tourists from northern parts of Russia.
