Another Russian warning against foreign NGOs
First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitrii Medvedev echoes President Vladimir Putin when he says that foreign NGOs operate a spy intruments in Russia.
In an interview with the Itogi journal this week, First Deputy Prime Minister and presidential candidate Dmitrii Medvedev reiterated the words of Vladimir Putin, saying that foreign NGOs in Russia are engaged in espionage against the country. As noted by newspaper The Moscow Times, the accusations were especially hard against the British Council - a core element in the current tense relations between Russia and the UK.
In the interview, Mr. Medvedev also gives an in-depth description of his family background and gives several details of highly personal character.
