Arkhangelsk ready to invest in South Ossetia
Governor of Arkhangelsk Oblast, Ilya Mikhalchuk, in a statement this week confirmed that his administration is ready to fund the restoration of social objects in South Ossetia, as well as ship construction materials and humanitarian aid to the region.
-Arkhangelsk Oblast is ready to take on the restoration of a social object in Tskhinvali, as well as deliver construction materials, food and other humanitarian aid to the victims of the military intervention, Governor Mikhalchuk said, Rusnord.ru reports. The governor also called the Georgian aggression against South Ossetia “a genocide” and a “provocation against Russian peacekeepers”. Money for the people of South Ossetia is now being collected all over Russia.
