Barents Monitoring: Murmansk 2008

In general, year 2008 developed quite positively for Murmansk Oblast. The impact of the global financial crisis was felt only in the last quarter of the year. The positive dynamics accumulated throughout the first half of the year enabled the region to preserve 97% of production level of the previous year.
