Changes in the regional government
Murmansk Oblast Minister of Finances Yevgeniya Mironenko has resigned, while the post as minister of Economics finally has been filled.
According to a press release from the regional government Mironenko gave the resignation of her own will. Any reason for the resignation is not mentioned. The 30 year old Mironenko has held post as Minister of Finances in Murmansk Oblast since October 2008. It is not yet known who will take over her position.
At the same time, Yury Yefremov, 36, is appointed new Murmansk Oblast Minister of Economics, another press release reads. The two ministries were earlier merged into one under command of Mironenko, but as part of the process of forming a new regional government after Dmitry Dmitriyenko was appointed Governor in March 2009, the ministries were again divided into two
