Charges pressed against deputy governor
Prosecutors in Murmansk have pressed charges against the region’s new first deputy governor, Mr. Boris Vorobyov. The high-ranking official is believed to have exceeded his powers when being mayor of the town of Zaozersk.
According to Murman.ru, Mr. Vorobyov abused his powers in the period as town mayor, resulting in a 12 million RUB loss to the federal budget.
Boris Vorobyov was recently approved as the region’s new first deputy governor.
