Energy debts up in Murmansk Oblast

The state heat and power company TEKOS is the largest budget debtor in Murmansk Oblast.

The company has a debt of more than 85.2 million RUB, B-port.com reports.

Meanwhile TEKOS’s outstanding debts have reached record high levels and amounted to 1.96 million RUB after the first quarter, the company’s web site reads. This is 760 million RUB more than at the beginning of the year. The largest debtors are municipalities and managing companies.

TEKOS is with its 13 heaters and 292 km of power lines a key element in the Murmansk regional energy system. A total of 10 towns and municipalities are supplied with heating by the company.
