Finland – a happy nation
The people of Finland is almost the most happy in Europe. A new study ranks the Finns as the second most happy nation in the EU after Denmark.
Of the 27 EU member states, Finland has the second best living and working conditions, a study from the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions shows.
Only Denmark is ranked better than the Finns, the study concludes.
The rest of the top five of Eurofound’s happiness hall of fame is occupied by Sweden, Norway and the Netherlands, with Bulgaria, Macedonia, Turkey, Latvia and Hungary languishing at the bottom.
The Dublin-based EU agency interviewed about 35,000 people for its second quality of life survey, Newsroom Finland reports.
