From Murmansk to Magadan
The jack-up rig “Kolskaya” will soon be transported around the globe.
The rig, currently laid-up on the west side of the Kola bay, will be transported onboard one of the world’s largest heavy-lift vessels, belonging to Dockwise Ltd. The transport deal between Dockwise and Arktikmorneftegazrazvedka was announced recently reports Offshore Energy Today.
The transport route will go from Murmansk around the coast of Norway towards the Atlantic all the way around Cape of Good Hope and further north again to Magadan in Russia’s Far East.
