Geoscientists to discuss Arctic petroleum
Next week the conference Polar Petroleum Potential, 3P Arctic, takes place in Moscow. Geologists and geophysicists gather to discuss exploration and geology in the Arctic Regions.
-This is going to be a fabulous conference for geoscientists who work the Arctic says the General Co-chairs of the conference John Hogg and Konstantin Kleschev on the conference’s web page.
This is the first Arctic conference and exhibition that focuses specifically on exploration and geology of the Arctic Regions – the basins, the petroleum systems and the rocks within the Russian, Norwegian, Greenlandic (Danish), Canadian and Alaskan onshore and offshore basins.
3P Arctic 2009 conference and exhibition will be held at Gubkin University of Oil and Gas – Russia’s principal higher educational institute of petroleum engineering.
