Green light for more exploration in Pechora Sea
The Murmansk-based AMIGE company has been given green light for prospecting of another two areas at the Dolginskaya field in the Pechora Sea.
The permission has been granted by the Russian Technical Control Service, Murmanchanin.ru reports with reference to B-port.com. The prospecting will be made in the areas of four exploration wells in the Dolginskaya-4 and Dolginskaya-5 prospects. The field is located near the better known Prirazlomnoe field. The Arctic Marine Engineering Geological Ekspedition (AMIGE) is specialised on the hydrocarbon mapping of the shelf. It was established in 1980 and has four exploration vessels to its disposal.
