Halonen to meet Putin in St Petersburg
Finnish President Tarja Halonen will next week meet with Russian Prime Minister Putin in St Petersburg.
During a work visit to the Russian city on 22 March, Halonen will attend a meeting with leading Finnish business people together with Russian PM Vladimir Putin, the Russian government website informs.
As BarentsObserver reported, Halonen and Putin last time met when the latter was on a visit to Helsinki in June last year. There are extensive multi-level political contacts between Finland and Russia.
