Investment boom in ski-resort
A minimum of 450 million Euro is due to be invested in the ski-resort Levi in northern Finland over the next three years. New hotels and holiday apartments will be built around the popular destination.
The Levin Tori premises, with a floor space of 25,000 square meters, will hold a hotel, restaurant and offices, and will be completed by the end of next year for a sum of 50 million Euro, writes The Levi Times. The largest project is the 100 million Euro hotel and holiday project in the centre of Levi. The project includes one five-star hotel and fifty high standard apartments. The ski-resort attracts tourists from all over Europe. This winter the Kittilä airport has 10 direct flights per week from major European cities like London, Paris and Zürich.
