Japan looks towards Nenets AO
A delegation from the Japanese oil company JOGMEC has been in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug to discuss projects in the oil-rich region.
Head of JOGMECs Moscow office met with the regional administration and expressed his companys interest in regional hydrocarbon projects, newspaper Pravda Severa reports. The Japanese company is reportedly especially interested in the Yuzhno-Khylchuyuskoe project, a joint project of regional partners Lukoil and ConocoPhillips.
