Governor of Murmansk Oblast says other countries should be invited to join the development of the Shtokman field in the Barents Sea. This will not only help promote business cooperation, but also peace and friendship, he underlines.
-We will do what we can to make the world see our huge opportunities, not only within transit and shipping. Our opportunities on the shelf of the Barents Sea are unique, they are enormous and even such a great country like Russia will not alone be able to develop them. Therefore, please come, please be our partners, lets do it together. By joining forces can we develop these huge resources, which will last for many decades ahead. At the same time, the governor warns against the ones who try to discredit Russia for its alleged attempts to force foreigners out of its hydrocarbon fields.
