Lukoil to produce 5,6 million tons in Nenets AO
Oil major Lukoil plans to extract 5,6 million tons of oil in the Nenets Autonmous Okrug this year.
Among the major regional projects of the company is the Yuzhno-Khilchuyuskoe field, which is developed in cooperation with ConocoPhillips. The Russian company this year also intends to allocate 150 million RUB to the Nenets AO regional administration. The money will be spent on the construction of kindergarten with capacity for 300 children, as well as the construction of a new birth ward in the local hospital.
