Medvedev: State expenses critically ineffective

Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev believes it is necessary to change the situation radically when it comes to state expenses.

- State expenses and use of state budget means is a highly actual question. Things are really bad on this field, Mr. Medvedev said in a meeting with representatives for the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Vedomosti.ru reports.

Also Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has criticized the regions’ spending on uphold of the state apparatus and their inefficiency within social services like health and education. As BarentsObserver reported, he has mentioned Murmansk Oblast as one of the regions with an unacceptable rise in administration expenses.
