Mining industry to be most important sector in Murmansk economy
In the mid-range perspective the mining industry will be the most important sector of the industry in Murmansk Oblast, and we need a comprehensive strategy for development of this sector, says Governor Dmitry Dmitriyenko.
The governor recently held a meeting with scientists from the Kola Science Center of the Russian Academy of Science to discuss such a development strategy, MBNews.ru writes.
To attract new investors to the mining industry we need new ideas, new methods and new deposits, the governor said.
