More Russian-Finnish cross-border cooperation
Finland will invest some 20 million EUR in development of projects in cross-border regions with Russia, says Finnish Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Paavo Väyrynen.
Väyrynen mentions St. Petersburg, Leningrad Oblast, the Republic of Karelia and Murmansk Oblast as regions where cooperation projects are most actively implemented, Murmannews.ru reports. He also mentioned Arkhangelsk as a future region for Finnish-Russian cross-border projects.

The Finnish allocations will be spent on projects within logistics, production of foodstuffs, timber industry and education.
