Murmansk cuts regional budget
The Murmansk regional administration will ”optimize” budget spending in the period 2010-2012. The correction comes after the federal government confirmed that it will cut spending with 20 percent next year.
The Murmansk budget will be optimized in order to ”adapt to the changing situation” a press release from the regional administration reads. The correction will cover the years 2010, 2011 and 2012.
The adjustments in Murmansk come after the federal government this week announced that it will cut spending on state management with 20 percent in 2010. –This will concern all bodies of the executive power, Finance Minister Kudrin said.
In 2010, the federal budget revenues will amount to 6.950 trillion RUB while spending will total 9.88 trillion. That gives a deficit of 2.94 trillion RUB, Newsru.com reports.
