More than 1000 persons attended the forum, which took place in Murmansk October 15-17 and focused on the theme “Arctic in the 21. century – development strategies”.

Several conferences covered issues like development of the energy sector, the fishing industry, cross-border cooperation in the Barents region, management of natural resources in the North of Russia. Special attention was given to the further development of Shtokman gas condensate field.
