Murmansk faces huge growth
-Already in year 2010, Murmansk Oblast can expect huge growth within all sectors, First Deputy Head of the regional economic development department underlines. He believes the next two years will be a preparation period for the Shtokman project.
Mr. Sergey Semyonov says to Regnum that all main issues related to the Shtokman project will be settled in the course of 2008 and 2009. After that, the question about the size of investments in the region will be clarified, he adds. The high-ranking regional official also says that the development of the Murmansk Transport Hub will pick pace in the period 2008-2009, which also will bring major investments to the region.
