Murmansk skier won two gold medals

Cross-country skier Aleksey Petukhov from Murmansk won two gold medals in a cross-country World Cup meet in Düsseldorf.

Aleksey Petukhov first won the 1 kilometer sprint ahead of Norwegians Anders Gløersen and Eirik Brandsdal and later took the gold medal together with Nikolay Morilov in the 6x1.5 kilometer men’s team race, web site Murman.ru reports.

Aleksey Petukhov is now rated number three in the cup standings, FIS web site reads.
