New book: Donskoy case is politically motivated
The former press-secretary of Arkhangelsk city mayor Aleksandr Donskoy has written a book about his ex-boss, in which he claims that the arrested mayor is victim of a politically motivated campaign.
On February 27 in Moscow Oleg Grigorash, a journalist from Arkhangelsk, presented his book named Crusade for presidency, in which he focuses on the criminal action taken against Mayor Donskoy. In the book, Mr. Grigorash writes that the Donskoy-case is politically motivated . He refuses to disclose the names of his sponsors. -I cannot reveal the names of the people who contacted me. But they are not from Arkhangelsk, Mr. Grigorash maintained. -They did not ask me to show the world what a cool dude Donskoy is. My goal was simply to tell what is happening, he added. Mr. Grigorash also said that he had spent only 20 days to write the whole book, so he could publish it before the Election Day. -What is now happening is a farse, he said. Mr. Grigorash believes that the new President should pay attention to the situation and take measures. Mr. Grigorash, who earlier has worked also for former Governor of the Nenets AO Aleksei Barinov, is now active in various PR-projects. Oleg Grigorash also said he expects serious problems when he returns to Arkhangelsk and thinks that he might be forced to leave the city.
