New Deputy Governor of Murmansk Oblast comes from the Russian Fishery Agency
Sergey Smityushenko from the Russian Fishery Agency is the first person to be appointed Deputy Governor in the new regional government.
Murmansk Oblast Governor Dmitry Dmitriyenko yesterday appointed Sergey Smityushenko as Deputy Governor, a press release from the Murmansk Oblast government reads.
Smityushenko is the first to be named as member of the new regional government.
Smityushenko comes from the post as Head of the Administration Department in the Russian Fishery Agency, the same place where Dmitry Dmitriyenko was Deputy Head before being appointed as governor. Before entering the Fishery Agency, Smityushenko worked six years in the Ministry for Economic Development and Trade as Head of the Administrative Department.
