Public hearings for Shtokman infrastructure
Last week, Shtokman Development AG held public hearings to discuss a reconnaissance programme expected to pave the way for the development of the infrastructure needed in Teriberka on the Kola Peninsula.
Bellona website reported from the hearings. According to the environmental group the discussion centred on a series of environmental protection measures expected to be in place to offset potential damage from the engineering works undertaken as part of the reconnaissance programme for the development of the Shtokman.
The hearings were conducted in Teriberka and also in Kola, a municipal centre, which holds administrative jurisdiction over Teriberka, Bellona reports.
