Ramboll Storvik expands to Komi Republic

Norwegian consulting and advisory group Ramboll Storvik has opened a branch office in the Komi Republic. With the new unit, Ramboll becomes one of the first Norwegian companies established in the northwest Russian region.

The new office in Syktyvkar is to serve clients with interests in the resource-rich region located on the western side of the Ural Mountains, a press release from the company reads.

The Komi Republic is rich on oil, forests and minerals. Together with Arkhangelsk Oblast, the region is also the gateway for arctic developments in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and beyond.
