Repsol could join Yamal LNG
Spain’s Repsol has experience in LNG that could make them an interesting partner for Gazprom.
Meeting at the World Gas Conference in Buenos Aires Thursday, Gasprom’s Alexei Miller and Repsol’s Antonio Brufau talked about possible joint projects and possibility of the Spanish group joining the huge Yamal liquefied gas project, reports Latin American Herald Tribune.
Repsol has launched an LNG regasification plant in Canada to supply the U.S. market. Gazprom recently said they could take a bigger share of the U.S. marked.
Spain’s Repsol has opened an office in Moscow to manage its growing activity in Russia.
