Russia interested in ND Transport Partnership
During a meeting with EU Commissioner on Transport Antonio Tajani last week, Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin expressed support to the development of the new Northern Dimension Partnership on Logistics and Transport.
The Russian minister also underlined that Russia and the EU now should step up transport cooperation in a bid to counter the negative tendencies in the world economy, a press release from the Russian Transport Ministry reads.
Mr. Levitin also said that he Russia is ready to cooperate with the EU, Norway and Iceland within the Northern Dimension.
