Russia to invest 4 percent of GDP in infrastructure
Russian Deputy PM Sergey Ivanov says Russia needs to increase investments in infrastructure development from todays 2,5 percent of GDP to 4 percent of GDP.
Speaking at last weeks Sankt Petersburg Economic Forum, Mr. Ivanov said that Russia will need several decades to upgrade road infrastructure to satisfactory standards. In such a country with big territories, this problem can not be resolved in 5-10 years. In can be solved in the course of several decades, the deputy PM said.
